Fall New Coaches Open Training--Dates to Be Announced
This is a five day new coaches training for Critical Friends Groups. This training will focus on teaching participants how to increase student achievement through professional collaborative learning communities. By the end of the training, participants will have learned to improve student learning, create equity in the classroom, increase efficient, effective communication and enhance personal performance through the use of protocols and reflective practice. Upon conclusion of this training, participants will become official CFG coaches.
The open training will take place in the fall/winter months in Bloomington, IN. The training will begin with three days in the fall, with the last two days scheduled in the winter. (Participant availability will determine the dates of the last two days of the training.) You may call (812) 330-2702 or email us at nsrf@nsrfharmony.org to reserve your place!
The seminar days begin at 8:30 am and end at 4:00 pm. Because we will begin on Monday, at 8:30 am, you'll probably want to fly in the night before. On Wednesday, the training will end at 2:00 pm to allow people time to travel home that day.
The conference takes place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We are getting a group rate for our participants for rooms there at $99.00 a night, (the cost of the hotel is not included in the training fee.) To book your room, call the hotel at 812-334-3252 and tell them you are with the NSRF training group through Harmony Education Center.
The fee for the training includes breakfast, lunch and snacks, with dinner on your own. It also includes a resource book of protocols, all the materials that we will use during the training and a year's membership in NSRF.
